our story
It all started with a chance encounter at the Chicago Artisan Market at The Metro in 2008.
Ben and Mike (BAM—get it?) quickly hit it off, bonding over a shared entrepreneurial spirit and a love for coffee and creative collaboration.
After years of running skeeball leagues, Mike pitched a bold new idea to Ben—his go-to tech guru: why not expand beyond skeeball and create a business that brings a variety of arcade games to the community? Their goal: to build vibrant, connected spaces through the power of play.
The idea gained momentum when the duo was offered a chance to launch a pop-up arcade on the second floor of Time Out Market. They jumped at the opportunity—and haven’t looked back since.
